Nelson Bourke Stage 2 Commencement 

Construction has commenced at 8 Bourke Street, Ringwood which is the second and final stage of the Nelson Bourke apartment development.

Stage 2 consists of 49 apartments over 5 levels including a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom?options, over a two level basement car park.

Harrow Street Car Park Completion 

The car park is now complete and open to the public. The car park was originally a small ground level car park, the building now boasts over 560 car and motorcycle spaces over the five levels with two ground floor tenancies.

The project was completed in just over 9 months with zero safety or environmental incidents!!

New Project - Rosebud Aquatic Centre 

We are delighted to announce that Buxton Construction has been awarded the contract for the construction of the $35.8 million Rosebud Aquatic Centre.

This project comprises of a 50m eight lane indoor pool, warm water and learn to swim pools, aqua play area, spa sauna and steam rooms, facility change village, offices, reception, cafe, entry foyer, health club including program rooms, social space, gymnasium, multi-purpose room, wellness centre, external terraced areas and landscaping. Construction is set to commence on site in July 2019.

Buxton Annual Go Kart Challenge 

We held our annual Go Karts Challenge at Auscarts Indoor Racing Track. Congratulations to Tim Hope-Johnstone for placing 1st for the fourth time since commencing his career at Buxton Construction. Congratulations also to Tim Edmonds for placing 2nd and Ben Cavell for placing 3rd in the final.

Nelson Bourke Apartments Completion 

We are pleased to announce the Nelson Bourke Apartments has recently reached practical completion for stage one. This project comprised the construction of 111 residential apartments over 2 buildings, both buildings share a common ground level over a two level basement carpark.

Building A consists of 59 apartments over five levels and Building B consists of 52 apartments over four levels.

Harrow Street Car Park Community Centre Fitout 

We are pleased to announce we have been awarded the contract for the fitout of the community centre tenancy on level one and two of the Harrow Street Multi-Deck Car Park. Works for this contract will be completed alongside the main works for the car park.

'Go Grey in May' in support of RCD Foundation 

Buxton Construction are going Grey in May on our construction sites to support the RCD foundation.

For the month of May, Buxton Construction have replaced its signature blue shade cloth signs on hoardings and fences with distinctive Go Grey in May banners on selected sites to raise awareness and money for paediatric brain cancer, the number one disease killer of young people. Buxton Construction will again be participating in Connors Run in support of the RCD foundation on Sunday, September 15th 2019.

CV Apartments, Hawthorn East 

Finishes works are advancing in all areas including common spaces in the CV Tower’s 55 No. luxury apartments and 3 levels of Premium A-Grade commercial office space. The tower crane TC3 and the CVT building’s Twin Hoist have now been removed.

Harrow Street Multi- Deck Car Park 

The steel structure has now been erected Level 4 slab level and all columns in place to Level 5, with one remaining slab level to go until top out is achieved.

Our Level 4 suspended concrete slabs have been poured to the North Elevation and in the midst of being prepared to East & South Elevations along with erection of precast panels to lift/stair cores. The external facade installation has commenced to the East Elevation with the outlook of a busy month ahead to install the project bespoke Locker Group Gripspan panels to create the unique facade.


Nelson Bourke Apartments Nearing Completion 

The project is nearing completion with final finishes to the entrance lobby and external works advancing. Purchaser inspections are underway with very positive feedback received by all. Authority compliance inspections and statements are nearly all attained, with an occupancy permit anticipated to be received within the week.
